About Daffodil House Retreats

History

The idea of a place for families and friends to connect was born in 2011, when my friend Norma and I both became grandmothers to beautiful baby girls.

We pondered what activities we could do together with them and realized that there were few things to do with older grandchildren that were not sporting events.

One day we would do something about that!

Fast forward to 2022.
My father died and my mother could no longer stay in the house alone.

Dad wanted the house to stay in the family so the idea of sharing the space with others came to be.

Sadly, Norma died unexpectedly in 2021, however, her favorite flower was a daffodil, so in her honor, Daffodil House was named.

It is our hope that you strengthen bonds and make uplifting memories during your time at Daffodil House.

A Keurig machine is available. Please bring your own K Cups. A dining room table that can seat 14 for family style meals. Excellent internet service.

A large bonus room with counter space, a washer/dryer, and a multitude of craft supplies. A wine refrigerator for overflow from the kitchen fridge. A large living room with cozy furniture and a 55” Smart TV

Accomodations:

Five brightly painted bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds, reading lamps, all bedding, ceiling fans, suitcase racks, hanging storage and jumbo-sized bath towels. Bathrobes for your convenience. If you are an early riser, view the sunrise from the deck in your PJ’s or declare a PJ Day for all! Three bathrooms-one is a half bath by the upstairs bedrooms and two on the first floor featuring large, low entry showers with loofah non-slip mats. Good accessibility, a no-stairs entry, with one bedroom on the main floor, and one bathroom with ADA features including a seat with its own shower controls.
